Are all of our reviews copyrighted?

Technically yes. They are part of the site, and can't (technically) be used on another site without permission.

Courts have held up that listing the source and adding a link to the site is sufficient in some cases. But they would still have to use your by-line. But, I don't think that applies to content such as reviews.

I am a member or a site that lets me share the reviews I want to with other sites, so you will find HeroesOfGaming reviews on sites other than HeroesOfGaming. I wouldn't share your guy's though.

Yes, kinda. They could quote it, but if they wanted to use the full review they would have to get permission. If they violated it they would be open to law-suit, and we could have their hosting company remove it from their site.

If anybody is interested I can leave a link for the site I share my content on. Poeple from there pick up a lot of the reviews and put them on their sites. They accept any type of article. You have to have your articles approved at first, but after a while they stop making them get approved.

thats awesome.....id love to be a video game review writer...but itd be so much stress to have to beat a game in one week then move on over and over....then if the games were absolutely terrible...

Jame's Cameron's Dark Angel and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory just to name a few. There are times it is like tourture. Many sites and magazines don't play the entire game before they write the review. I like to personally.

Some of the big sites will write an article after they write the review. They will talk about how the game was after spending more time with it. I'm not going to say the site, but they are in the top 3, and they got busted for not even playing the game before they wrote the review.
