ya were real bad about that around here (sorry).
i hate how if you say certain words to an african american than its racsist, but ive heard african americans say it to each other all of the time. |

I'm not saying we SHOULD call them that (I am UTTERLY against it), but I'm saying it's rather... stupid to be calling a member of your race that, as isn't it also insulting you?

Two friends call each other asshole. Its justa friendly piece of banter; they don't mean it, they just call each other it.
But if someone else was to call one of those guys asshole, it has complelty different connotations.

So they have a special bond for simply being black?
And we can't call them black individual yet they can call us cracker? It doesn't make sense..
You don't see people just because their white going around and calling each other honkey, or crakcer do you? No you only see blacks doing that, just like most murders being black on black yet they still blame the white man, just like most robberies being black on black but they still blame the white man.. Blame the white man, blame society, blame God I'm so sick of blacks blaiming people for their mistakes and problems it makes me sick. |

and im not saying i want to call them names. i just find it weird that if i said it it would be rascist.
and is anyone on the forum black? i think that we should get that point of view in this argument. |

Its not a question of who can or can't call what. We shouldn't cal lthem niggers, becuase coming from someone that isn't black, it has racist connatations. Same goes with the word for cracker. Just because whites don't call each other cracker doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to call each other black individual.

Technicaly I'm not black but Indian. Many of us call each other Singh and we don't mind others calling us it because its not a derogratory term. Howvere "black individual" is a derogratory term. Thats what the slave drivers used to call black people and so it is derogatory because it would feel like you would be calling someone a second class citizen. For me and others who's family come from the Indian Subcontitnent "Paki" is the word we hate. The reason thats what peop,le from there were first called when they arrived in the UK and treated like second class citizens. My mum and her brothers and sisters were called it when the were younger. The BNP ( the most rascist party in Britain) used this term and then in the 1980's beat up people from these areas while calling them "Pakis". Just a few weeks ago I was called one and the results weren't nice. Usually I'm a mellow guy but if anyone calls me that I will not hold back |

WHen you feel out of place its hard not to. Someone might call me fat and I might call them a [explicit]. I mean, it might not be a racial discrimination but it just doesnt need to be said. If the world wasnt like it is now, there would be an inbalance. everyone cant get along with everyone else. Its just a social fact. Thats why we have our arguments on here. |
