| That's a difficult one without being able to actually touch the computer. Do you have the virus' name? There may be a manual fix. Also I just ran into one the other day that devistated the system files, and after working on it for a day, I actually just restored Windows to the status it was when they bought it... |

| THe virus scanner hasn't detected it again, so if it doesn't detect it anymore, I won't worry about it, if it does ill try to find the file name. Ill run an online virus scan too to check again. |

| I would do a good spyware scan as well. Some of them pop up as viruses then don't show again. |

| His was actually a trojan though, and those can go undetected for a long time sometimes. |

TIP: Stay away from Runescape!
Sorry it's just that I noticed that when I played, I would get spyware
and trojans all of the time. In my time during WoW, I haven't gotten
a single one, however I never got lag on Runescape like I have on
WoW, so I think it evens out. |

Explain how my computer was obliterated by viruses right after playing Runescape with no downloads then. |

| yeah seriously try running a true antivirus/spy blocker while playing runescape...its pretty ugly in the least. Its an online game where you go to a URL to play, IMO, even though it says its secure, I couldn't trust it as far as I could throw it. And since I can't throw it because its not an actual object....well, you get the idea.... |

That's why you gave your credit card number over it? |

| I only put enough money on there to pay for one thing at a time...its a prepaid card so I just add money and go...if I ever lost it, it'd be no big deal because I would never really lose much. That's why I wasn't worried about it. |
