The comp restarts iteslf?
Maybe iTunes is installing updates, and then rebooting to finish the update. |

| Well it depends where the music is saved. If your worried either move all the music or make backups. |

You shouldn't lose the music, but you may lose any play list you have.
I would go through the options with a fine tooth comb, and see if any of the settings would cause it to restart your comp. I would focus on the updates section.
If that doen't work or you can't find anyting, then I would probably uninstall then reinstall as Danny suggested. |

| Yeah, you'll have to re-update your music, but if you keep it all in one spot, its no big deal....I'd check whether or not it is running updates...sounds to me like thats whats going on. |

| You won't lose your music, but if it is in WMA format it'll have to be converted again. Just annoying and time consuming is all. |
