Okay, I played a few minutes of FFVII Dirge of Cerberus, and I was not impressed.

The controls were difficult and I had trouble even walking around. I bet it would be much better after going through a tutorial, but I wouldn't expect this to be much more than average.

There were some cameos in it though, mainly Yuffie, and that should make it worh playing through if they don't get the controls and targeting tightened up a bit.

wow sounds naff i dont really like the idea of an FF thats a shooter it doesnt bend with me but ill play it just because it is FF

I hope I played a very early build. The graphics were grainly and the gameplay was confusing.

i still say that the idea of taking a rpg and making it a third person shooter is a bad idea.

I am as well. Demo's arent' always the best judge of the final game. Just look at Kameo for the 360. The true game had a much more open feel to it compared to the structured demo.

sorry for the double post but ive just read a review from the full game version tried and tested by ops2 and they are giving similar views however i will be playing it just to see how the storyline pans out and apparently yuffie barret and cait sith make an appearance in the game

Yes they do. I saw most of them in videos and other things. HoG probably won't do a review on it any time soon (I have a ton of reviews I haven't even added to the site).

If anybody else does one (and it is quality) I'll add it to the site.

Engerizer (or whatever) really wasn't that good. It was that PS1 3D fighter that had Cloud in it.

But back on topic, I'll play Durge eventually just for the story.

i think u guys are judging to early i meen the worst square game(FFX-2) was still a good game. Square is too good to screw up.
