This is a mock up of what the cover of the HoG magazine I want to make one of these days would look like.
It may take a second to load, but what do you think?
What should I change?
(The text looks great printed, but looks awkward in the picture.)

| That looks very good, The only thing that you could change is the back image, but you have to pick what you like. Maybe change it month to month based on new realeesse or something. |

| i dont like the blocky text or how the text boxes are see through. either make them opaque (sp) or get rid of them. other wise its lookin good! |

Thanks for the input guys.
The text is my favorite, but it looks horrible in the picture (the text is the same as I used in the flash image in the header). It is definitely a work in progress (I am in no rush at all).

I would like more input on the transparent text boxes. I like how it made it look more organized. I plan on using a full page screen or pic for every page, then filling the text boxes with content. So they are important. When I actually go with a style I want to have moved past the amateurish stage. This is really just practice now. |

I like the text.. But it needs at least a stroke. |

The only thing I'm concerned with is making the text look less pixely.
This can be done by a series of blending options, or put on anti alias that may help. |
