Forum Moderator Election!

This process is very simple. Each of the following members are in an election to be a new Moderator.

This is in the order in which they applied.

rickjames

Holymonkey

danny12

FFfanaticx

Blackworm

Once you make your vote, please send a PM to danizduhman with your pick. (cg voting closed)

No alt accounts will be counted, and WILL be checked.

You can only vote once.

The top two members will be voted apon by the Moderators, and they will go in-deph with reasoning as to why a person should or should not be appointed the postion of a Moderator of Heroes of Gaming.

This will last a week and a week alone, so please vote as soon as possible.

For the very same reason... people will be abe to see who did, or didn't vote for them, and somebody is bound to get upset. A private ballot is much more sensible.

Actually people would be able to vote on multiple accounts and we wouldn't be able to tell if it was voted on by a real member or somebody making extra accounts to vote for themselves.

This is our first public election for a mod. We're trying things out to be as fair as possible.

There should be a tool that lets moderators/admins view the ips of the voters, you could match em up.

They can view the ips of the voters but people can just go on differnet comps.

The best thing to do is to only allow votes of the users that the mods know. Not some random user that they have never seen before.

Maybe you should have a post limit to vote (not spam).

Say only people will more than say 50 posts can vote? That way, nobody could just make accounts to vote on?

Well VGcats has been here for a while and he could not even tell we had a poll going on so I dont think we need to worry a lot about random users voting :p
