You see, unlike most other drugs, marijuana does NOT make you go insane, whatever some government media thing might make you believe. I've known marijuana users-- They haven't killed me or harmed me (even if I found them high). And I ask you to find evidence they do go insane. At all.

I don't smoke the stuff. I personally feel no need to get a high. But it has no adverse effects-- nobody, yes NOBODY has died becuase of marijuana overdose. It's not toxic enough. As such, there's NO reason to keep it out of people's hands. And making it illegal? Well, it isn't working.

Did I mention medical use? It relives nausea and pain, and brings back appetite. Again, I haven't used it, but people SHOULD be able to! It's FREEDOM OF CHOICE. If we have freedom of speech, why not choice? As long as that choice harms nobody else, then it shoule be legal.

So, as an end to this post, I'd liek to demand to be conviced that:

1. Marijuana is bad for you

2. That it makes you insane

3. THat it should not be legalized.

i watched a program late night that showed a person dicecting a marijuana user and a normal persons brain the marijuana users had gone all nasty and black like smokers lungs this causes extreme deficiencies (sp)

I have tried Marajuana once. It was a fun experience, but it can be harmeful over long periods of time, with excessive use. It is possible to overdose on anything, I saw a report where someone overdosed and died from drinking too much water at once. Othorwise I dont really understand why it is illegal. Alchohol and ciggarets are both drugs. Alchohol and ciggarets both cause cancer with ecsessive use. And people are allowed to make their own up to a certian ammount. I dont see anything wrong with allowing people to do it, and be able to grow it to a certain extent. Of couse it should be emphesised that people do it responsibly. I wouldnt want all my employees high while working, but I also wouldnt want them drunk. I have been told that one reason it is illegal is because it would be hard to tax unlike alchohol. Of couse having something illegal doesnt stop anyone from doing it in the privacy of their homes. All in all I dont see why it shouldnt be legal, but give me facts why Its too dangerous to make legal.

First of all, it is not good because you are not who you really are, you could go kill somoene because you are high.

Secondly it can and has been proven to lead to more seroius drugs.

Finally, I would really not want it to be legalized so people could get it more easily then the majority of the world would be potheads.......bad.

ANY type of illegal drugs are bad it dosn't matter if they make you go crazy or not. Being high may not be the worst thing but it's like being drunk you have no control of yourself

Yes but tobacco is worse than marijuana. I don't do it but would you rather have a drug that gets you high and has some medicinol qualities or a drug that causes cancer and shortens your life?

marijuana does cause shrotness of life the program i watched was not crap it was ascientific study into the effects of drugs.

I dont think marijuana is pacticulary bad for you especially since i read a survey where tobacco and alcohol got labeled as causing more deaths.

These days I d say about 2 out of every 5 people have done some marijuana maybe more. out of the people I know, yeah ok, theres been some people whos got in trouble with the police and become hooked on other more deadly drugs but I also know ex-smokers who are stdying hard and going to university.

It should be legalized as alot of people are doing it anyway, and most of them get by ok in life. Legalising marijuana wouldnt bring hordes of manical people upon the world, its just like smoking or drinking which millions of people do legally

indeed however this doesnt stop the fact that they are harmfull to your body with regular usage hence they are labelled as drugs
