Ok, this is a very old incomplete guide I made. Im posting it here, because I keep losing it, and I still plan to finish it. You can scroll to the bottom to see how old it really is, I just copied it and pasted it from the first place I found it.

To FGF USERS:Yes This guide is being made for onnuke.com a php-nuke host. I will be changing all links from that site for the version here. Im not even close to being done. Im just doing simple stuff for now. And the bare bones parts not the real guides. But If you guys could suggest some ideas for guides. Like say add a guide to changing a logo ill create a guide for it. Thanks

A.Go to your admin page then into the forums page, from there scroll to towards the bottom it says "User Admin"

Click on "Permissions"

Click on "look up user"

Under "Username:" youll see "User Level:"

Its a drop down menu, there choose "Administrator" for whomever you wish to assign Admin too....

A.Log in to admin.php

Choose : Preferences

Change your default theme here : "Default Theme for your site:"

A.How Do I change My logo?

1.To change your logo you simply go to your control panel.
You do this by going to: [url "http://yoursite.onnuke.com/admin.php"]http://yoursite.onnuke.com/admi n.php[/url]

3.Find The box called Site Logo. In that box insert the url of your image.It should look like http://www.imagehost.com/YOURIMAGE.GIF

4. Your Done, Your logo has been added.
If it did not work. Its because your browser saved the image. Just do this to fix that..or just wait
For FireFox

Tools > Options > Privacy > Clear Cookies and Chache.

For Internet Explorer

Tools > Internet Options > Under Temporary Internet Files > Delte Cookies


B.How Do I add a forum block to my front page?
example is www.test.onnuke.com

STEP 1
Go to your admin.php
Url will look like yoursite.onnuke.com/admin.php

STEP 2
Click The Icon That looks like This:


STEP 3
Scroll down to the bottom were you can create a new block. This looks like:

Step 4
***For this step look at the image above.****
The Item in the red circle needs to be change to the theme you are using on your forum.

The things in the blue circles should be set to the settings I have.

Now Click create Block(Its at the bottom)

Now your finished it should look like

Just In whatever theme you set it tos color.

These area the sections on the right and left side of your forum

Edit Admins
This are lets you add and controll the power given to other admins.

EM's Gallery
Allows you to upload pictures to your site for users to view.

Ephemerids
Onnuke does not allow you to use this option.

User Groups
This lets you add groups to your website.

HTTP Referers
Shows you all places that are linking to you.

IP Ban
This shows all ip's that are banned on your webpage. You can also ban ips from yoursite here.

Messages
You use this to post news on your homepage.

Moderation
Lets you review things posted by other users

Modules
These are all the cool links on the left side.

NewsletterLets you send a message to all of your users.

Prefrences
Lets you change all the main sections of your site.

SubmissionsLets you monitar all user sumbited material on your site.

LogOut
Pretty obvious lets you log out of the admin cp.

To Start Off this section- The download center is just the name I use for this section.

This area can help your forum the most. If you can find great downloads to add people may come to your site just for them.

A.Guide to setting up and adding things to your download area.

Step 1.Click the download link

Step 2.Set up a category.
You do this by finding this box. Its the first one on the page below the admin controlls


Step 3.Make a Sub-section. This is good to do to keep everything more organized.

The box looks like:


Step 4.You can know easily add downloads.
When adding a download make sure to put it in the right section.-I have the section selector down in the image be sure to pick the right one.
