3.in the game you can collect more than 300 kinds of pokemon
4.you could always look at their cute faces
5.theres many pokemon conventions in real life |

But isn't it amazing how many copies of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen were sold in the US. Not to mention Pokemon Saphire. Somehow Pokemon holds on to its market share no matter how un-cool people say it is.
And I have to admit that as RPG's go you can't ask for much more. Several hundred playable characters, and a complicted but not overly complicated battle system.
Imagine if they made a Final Fantasy game that had several hundred playable characters. People would call it revolutionary. |

I remember some guy saying that Final Fantasy had copied the system of Pokemon...
This baffled me hugley.
FF has been around since the SNES, yet Pokemon is fairly new.

| Yeah, I don't know where that guy would've gotten his information. FF and Pokemon's battle systems don't really have that much in common. And to top it off FF slightly modifies their battle system for each game, while Pokemon's stays pretty much the same. |

| I can't stand them. But the reason they are selling well is because the younger kid buy them. Elementry school kids buy them alot, and by 6th grade they are done with them, as we all were. |
