I love FF, but you can't always see the web pages how they are intended to be seen. Most everything is written for IE.

It's been doing fine for me, from what I need it for, so far. But I still have IE in case something goes wrong. FF has alot more options, and I'm really lovin' the tabs.

Mhmm, Rss is right, most sites are programmed for IE, but a recent settle of boycotting has made Firefox sites far more common =3

Also just a note, if anyone has troubles with Firefox, send me a detailed description of the problem and what causes it here: camkill@gmail.com

I will contact a staff member I know quite well ASAP and get 'er fixed up =D

Recent problem:

Firefox.exe is not always closing correctly, you may find that firefox will ask you to use a different profile sometimes, or simply will not open when clicked. To solve this on a Windows XP system;

Hold:
Control (Ctrl) + Delete (Del) + Alternative Setting (Alt)

In the top tabs section of your windows task manager, select the 'Processes' tab. Search for the process 'firefox.exe' and select it.

Once selected, click end process, and then run firefox as usual. If it still does not work, repeat above steps to ensure multiple executables were not opened.

If you prior selected a different profile, and now have no bookmarks/history/cookies left, do the following.

-----

Perform above steps to ensure all firefox.exe programs are shut down.

Click your start menu, and select the 'Run..." option.

type the following in the Run line : "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profilemanager

(Note: In the above, DO use the quotes.)

Select your original profile (default if you didn't create any custom profiles)

You will now have your bookmarks/cookies/history back.

Well, I've got FF2. I think I actually like using IE7 more though. Kinda a switch considering I liked FF over IE.

o.O *beats with a stick!* nah I really don't mind either, they both perform well, have fair security, and now both have the tab feature. It's officially come to the point, of user preference. They're about even. I'd have to reccomend either, according to what the user prefers. Right now FF offers alot more cool plugins like radio, streamed vid downloader, youtube downloaders and other such things.
