Does anyone use it?

Its kinda like a program that shares files.

Most people use it for games and videos.

I d/l'd Borat from it the other night, got VERY good quality.

I use UTorrent much better than BitTorrent imo

I use it, it's pretty good. I use it mostly for downloading applications, or entire albums. Miscellaneous things, i use limewire.

It depeneds on the torrent most torrents are slow.

oooo...usually it's cause people dont seed, or there arent enough people downloading. but yah, torrents are usually slower than http downloads anyway. but they are faster than ftps.

I've tried to get away from downloading. Last time I downloaded a prog I got four viruses before I actually got the program. No big deal though, they were obviously viruses, and I didn't infect my computer.

I use phazeddl.com
They have everything. It just takes a while because you're only able to download 1 file every 90 minutes or so and each file can only hold 100 megs. so if you want to download stuff like oblivion it takes days. You also need winrar. But besides that it's awesome because nearly everything they have works and you're able to download albums at a time and other stuff. I still occasionally use stuff like limeware and Ares though, not so much bittorrent, maybe on really rare files.

And most of the torrents I get are 300 mb. files taking up a total of about 100 hours or so and my computer's not always on so it's a bitch and takes up to a week.
