We should be lucky Ahmadinejad isn't top dog in Iran. His superiors are much more sane and are looking to get peaceful negotiations with the US and the UK. Plus a war wih Iran would be crazy. Why?

1. Iraq. Yeah do I need say more?

2. Iran is much bigger than Iraq. Think of the problems in Iraq and then times them by 10. That's what we're up against in a miltary campaign.

3. The people of Iran elected Ahmadinejad but like the Bush his opnion polls are suffering big time. He'll be voted out soon enough.

4. Diplomacy before war.

It seems there just asking for war.

But, I dont want war with them eather. But it seems there doing what they can to get it. I saw cnn and they have an apply store in Tehran. Down with Apple!

i think we as americans are asking for a religious war not a war on terrerism. All we are doing is attacking muslim countries. i need not remind u that if it comes to a religous war all 3 major (jew, christ, and muslims) have nukes.

But, if it is religious war, lets make it fair and destroy Israel and Canada. Then nobody will feel like we are just targeting them.....

I think Iraq qas a war for oil, I dont think Iran is/will be.

Iran has been going against all nations ideals, and beliefs. It has pursued Nuclear technology despite the world demandint it stop. It has been figured that they are giving weapons to insurgent groups with Iraq,, to help the sheites (or something) I belive. There has been a bad long term history with Iran. Plus they refuse to regonize Israel, basicly a pupet state of the West within the middle east.

And now they have taken 15 British military personal as pow's.

Oh, and they do have oil.

Ira q and Iran = mostly muslim countries. Thats why its looking like america is attacking one religion.

We dont want them to think were attacking them just for the relgion....

As I said before Iran would be stupid to attack. Forces are thin on the ground already and going into Iran would be like Vietnam all over again...

However if the british troops aren't released then Britain has a legitimate reason to go to war with Iran. The US would probably jump in but it is economically idiotic as the US has the biggest deficit in history...

Iraq had "weapons of mass destruction" too. In fact, anyone who we want to go to war with suddenly has nukes.

Isn't it ironic how the USA wants to go to war with any small nation that has the technology to build nukes yet has the most amount of nukes itself?
