360 or PS3

The first gen of PS3 games are slightly lower quality than the current gen of 360 games.

I would expect the trend to change in 2008 or 2009.

For example, there are no shadows on the field from the stadium in the PS3 version of Madden 07, and they are there for the 360 version. But Madden 06 didn't have the shadows in the 360 version. They just got better with the code in their second generation.

Table Tennis.

The 360 in the year 2007, but 2008 should be about the PS3 and 360.

I must agree. The PS3 has more horsepower so ultimately it should win. Eventually all the PS2 fans will get themselves a PS3 and then it will truly be on.

if it didnt cost so much, it would have won already.

and anyways, people buy systems and games that have good graphics nowadays, the gameplay doesnt even matter.

they just assume it will be good.

kind of like beowulf. a truly HORRIBLE movie, but i got dragged in2 seeing it because of the graphics... thats why i think WII is bests. japanese people dont care much for graphics, just gameplay. and THAT is where mario and nintendo games are highly superior.

i have to say that will be easier get a ps3 now bcs have its price reducted to 400 dl,of course sony kill the retrocompatibility for a low price and its the 20 gb model but at the end will be cheaper and more accessible.

Both systems are brilliant, but both systems have their pros and cons. The PS3 has the best controller and amazing hardware, but the killer apps are all on the 360. I expect the PS3 and 360 to be on the same level by the end of the year 2008.
