I was just looking through GameFAQs at random one day, when i found this new board.

It's all about sleep and dreams, it's quite interesting reading, especially the Lucid Dream's.

My dreams are quite strange and sometimes things happen where I freak myself out such as dreaming the future. I am not making this up, I even have a list somewhere of vivid dreams and crosees off the ones that have occured in reality. Examples:

The Hemel Hempstead oil depot fire. 2 weeks before that occured I dreamed the news reports of it.

A colleague telling me she was leaving. I dreamt right down to the smallest detail and it all occured a month later.

However I hear this is not uncommon as you may firt think. I've been doing some research on it.

No though that would be nice. It's just a private thing. Soundsstrange reallydoesn't it? However who knows what our brains are really capable of? Weonlyuse10% of ourbrain actively. What if that barrier started crumbling away allowing each individual to enhance that power even by 1%. What if humanity is starting to hit the next stage of evolution? It's an ongoing process afterall and our environment is changing at a rapid rate.

These things could just be pure luck or maybe a more scientific explanation. I'm not going to be saying "Ohh it's magic!".Everything has an explanaation it's just some explanations haven't been found yet.

How exactly do you have the resources to do research on dreams? Isn't it expensive? Unless, you are billionaire.

No monetary research yet. I've just been reading papers and such on dreams.I've come across some pretty far out theories. One ofthe theories presented is that dreams are a window into an alternate reality. When we sleep our "other self" wakes and goes about their life and vice versa. Very far out but very original.

I've actually had very similar dreams happen to me. And they are almost all in first person. I very rarely dream, but when I do, they often come true.

All the dreams I have had that become reality are in First Person. Maybe there is something to all of this.

Oh, I see what you mean now when you said research. I thought your occupation was a scientist who does research in a laboratory.

I had this strange dream one time that I was being eaten alive by those yellow Chocobos from the Final Fantasy games.

once i dream a beautiful girl and she was my girlfriend (on the dream),one year later without expecting it i met a new hired girl on the job ,IT WAS SHE, then eventually she become my girlfriend (in the real life),when i tell her about that dream, she belive me!!! i dont know how the dreams work ,but this kind of things are very interesting Cool

i dont know bcs i'd never hear her name in my dream ,in the real life her name was Gloria ,but when i see her in person the first time i couldnt belive that was the same of my dream,now she is married, not with me ,and in fact she have a child,but im happy to met her bcs she is one of my best friends ,the best of all,also she is a woman that i would never forget ... Very Happy

I've had some pretty weird dreams.
Such as the one where I dreamt I was out on a River in a fishing boat and all of a sudden someone else's boat was sinking so I ran on top of the water to save them. Then, moments later I drove the boat onto land to pick up my father from somewhere.
Now tell me that isn't a messed up dream.
