I just added an text rpg game to the forum. You can use your bronze chips to buy things, and you can make characters of different classes. You can battle player vs player, train, or hunt monsters. There is a lot more you can do, but you should just give it a shot, and see what you think.

Just click the "RPG" button at the top of the page to get started. I hope you enjoy. Very Happy

I'm still working things out, but I have most of the prices set for the store. I just need to make weapons, armor and more monsters.

It has one in the game, but once I get a little deeper into customizing the game I'll probably make a quick go-by.

Right now the game is at the Beta stage.

You have to use the potions during a battle. Outside of a battle you use the "Temple" to recharge your life.

To battle other players you go to the player vs player section. But this is new and we only have a few members right now.

Let me know of things that need to be tweaked.

Also this rpg game is a little more complicated, and advanced, than the other one I was installing. But since the other once crashed the forum (in August), this one is the one I went with. Once you get the hang of it, it's not that confusing.

If we get enouph people playing it then we'll add a specific section for it.

Here are some little tid-bits I've picked up so far.

* If you want to use spells you must buy the "Magic tome" first.

* You can only use potions during battle, outside of battle use the "Temple"

* You can only use items that are equal or less than your level. (You must be level 3 to use the IceBall)

* To use a weapon such as the "Pickaxe Weapon" you must buy it, then use the drop-down menu to chose it during a battle, then press attack.

Idea

If anyboyd else has pointers, post them here for now. And like I said if we have enouph interest in the game then it can have its own section.

I've been playing it so that I can get it tweaked just right. I've lowered the price of healing and revivng in the temple. I've also modified the spells to make them more usefull.

I've actually made about 100 chips taking into account all the chips I spent on potions and fireballs.

Right now me and Kakashi Sensei are battling. I can't seem to hit him (my acuracy sucks), and the interface for the PvP is kida weird, but I guess you could play over a couple of days. It works through pm's and you have to refesh the PvP challenge screen.

The combat system I understand, but how does the bank system work, with like interest and things? Like you take chips out and put them in the bank in the RPG what happens to them when you look at the chip number on the forum? Do you have to take them out again to spent them on badges or something?

I havn't messed with it yet, so I don't really know.

I just played the PvP. And to play you either accept a battle, or challenge somebody. If you want to a PvP battle could be played over a longer period of time than a monster battle.

Once you have accepted the battle you click on the "join" link on the PvP screen and take your turn. Then the other player takes their turn, and a pm is sent to you letting you know it's your turn again. You then go back and click on "Join" again, then rinse rather and repeat.

I kept two windows open. One was at the PvP screen, and I was posting in the other window. I had to refresh the PvP screen once I knew it was my turn again so that I could click on the "join" link to take my turn.
