I couldn't tell if that was real or not, but I did see real time in-game footage of Halo 3 at CES. I'll have to look through my notes, I may have some better info on it.

I can sadly tell you the second one is a rather apparent dud. you can clearly see the double set shotgun aiming reticle, which if you've viewed the Halo 3 Weapons guide, has been extremely altered. Also if you listen, you can note that the shield drop alarm, is the same pitch and tone as Halo, whereas Halo 2 even used an entirely different sound effect. This my friends, is Halo PC with a modification on it. As for the first, I can't clearly indicate. Sorry >.<

Ethrock, the second video is not fake. Here are five reasons....

No. 1, the graphics quality on the PC are WAY below those, and not even a mod could fix them.
No. 2, the shotgun HASN'T been altered, if you check the "Et Tu, Brute" video, released by Bungie.
No 3, the sound was probably a place holder.
No 4, the medals appear in different places - that can't be changed, even with mods.
No 5, you'll notice an Xbox 360 feature pop up.

The second one was real. And the first one, too, but I'm addressing the second.

Well I'm glad you did, and thanks for the observations. They seem extremly valid.

Halo 3 is out there and it is playable. I have seen plenty of video. Also if I remember correctly, the big furry guys are the main enemies. Also they attack in 'smart' groups. If I can find the vids on my hard-drive I'll post them (now that I can). I just don't remember which computer they were on.
