im probably over stepping the mark a bit but this may be valid so i'll say it

would it not be an idea to A: delete really old topics
B:delete the old elite section its all locked anyway
and finally delete accounts that have been inactive for over 3 months.

this will allow the forum to free up space for updates, new sections and the like

Though, any member with 0 posts and inactive for a year plus may be worthy of deletion.....

I don't agree with deleting posts, however. You never know when a new member is going to looking through our old stuff and bring up new conversation to a old topic. We have the space for it, and it can't really hurt anything.

Your post counts are also affected in the deletion of posts/threads.

When I cleaned out the wow forum, I lost 300 posts.
