Oh god yes.
The line up for the PSP is huge.
Im a little dissapointed with the sport sims confirmed already.... No sign of PES anywhere, and Ive yet to see a FPS released, but the rest look good.
That plus WiFi gaming, the PSP will be the god of all handhelds.... |

| the games of the ds arnt the exact copy of games that came out for the the n64 but the games for the psp are exact cppies of games that come out for the ps2. u didnt get my last post obviously. For example... need for speed rivals, all the sports games, midnight club, tony hawk 2 remix, dynasty warriors, dead to rights, spiderman, burnout, atv offroad fury. ALl these games have a version and the ps2 that are very similar if not exactly alike. |

That is a good point rickjames. At least the N64 ports to the DS are upgraded so you can have interaction with the touch-pad. Then you have very good and unique games like Pac-Pix and Nintendogs.
But then if you compare both versions of the Sims on the PSP and the DS, then I would have to say that the PSP Sims looks a lot better. The DS one may be easier to use with the touchscreen though. |

I have to agree that the psp is a better looking system, but I also have to agree with Hockeydude that it depends on what type of gamer you are. If you loved the PS1 and hated the N64, then the psp will definately be for you.
The psp is basically the PS1 in handheld size. The DS is basically the N64 in handheld size. Now that is over-simplifying it, but considering it's possible to easily port PS1 games to the psp and the same is true about the DS and N64, it's definately not an un-true statement. |

| PSP. I have both the PSP and the DS but the PSP owns the DS by far. I only use my DS for going ton Picto shat to chat with my friends. The teouch screen gets worn out very easily and thats why Im not a big fan of it. |

| ds all the way. who wants to pay $20 for a umd movie or $200 for a 1gig card? who wants to watch a movie on a 4 in screen anyway? psp has no good games. to play a game it has to load for like 3 minutes (which sucks for those of use that cant pay attention). the only bright side to psp are the graphics. |

| all right i have a psp and i can now put a more just appinion DS is great i meen who doesnt like touch sreens,. However PSP is also good the only probalems i have with it are its like a friggin ps2 handheld with same games, too little battery time, anaklog stick is flat out GAY!!!!!!! But it does have pretty good games and the dvd thing is great. But i think the gay looking DS is about to win because it is being redone and now looks great(DS light) not to mention the games are great and inevetive which is something u dont get from sony. Sony steals alot of thing from nintendo analog stick idea final fantasy games handheld idea I meen how can u go with a company like that instead of a company like nintendo. |

| the spelling and grammer was real bad in that post. i couldnt understand much of it. and to be honest i really dont like the umd dvd movies on the psp. $20 for a movie that i can only watch on that little screen bothers me. the analog stick is bad. that was the turn off for me with daxter. and the load times kill me. 5 minutes to load a game is rediculous. |

It's a forum, grammar doesn't matter that much...
That said, I still prefer the DS over the PSP. Especially the DS Light. After playing it at E3 it just felt pretty comfortable. Well as comfortable as playing a handheld attached to a counter can. |
