Well, this one came out in 2004, but I'm just getting around to it.

It is an rpg for the Gamecube that comes over two discs.

So far it's pretty good. I enjoy the plot twists that already happended (I'm about half way through disc one). And I'm sure there are some good plot twists coming.

Some aspects are a little juvenile, but nothing as bad as what you normally get on the GC. It even has some pretty funny moments.

Anybody else played this, or heard of it? I'd like to hear what you think.

I'm 20 hours into it, and not finished with the first disk yet. The story is decent with some twists, but I am renting it from Gamefly. It is a little kiddy though, but it has been good.

During battle you control your character similar to an action title. You can move forward and back, and hit or use special attacks or magic whenever you want.

If you think you can get through it in a rent or two then I would say rent it, but I bet you could find it for around $15 used if you looked hard. In that case I would say buy it.

I just finished the game, so here's an update...

It took me about 50 hours to complete. The cut scenes are hand drawn cartoons, and the whole game has a religious overtone (that changes harshley half way through), and tackles racism (between Humans, Elves and Half Elves).

The gameplay was fun for an rpg, you actively control your character. The story was the high point though. There were a ton of twists and turns, and even a few suprises along the way.
