whats this all about why on earth is there no PS2 version for this game it means i cant stay on track to play all the recent FF games nooo.

There is, it came out several years ago. It is one of the two (I think there were only two) games that required the PS2 hard drive. The game came pre-installed on the hard drive and requires a $12 monthly fee.

really sounds a bit expensive to me having to pay out all that and then another £6 after that just to play it hmmm that sucs has any on played it?

The PS2 version is the same as the Xbox 360 and PC versions (mostly). The gameplay doesn't feel fine tuned for a console, and it is a very slow paced mmorpg. I like WoW, EQ, ROSE, and just about any other much more.

wow sounds a bitt naff to me i wont invest in the pc version then
