does anyone know of a way to get dammaged disks repaired that doesnt cost a bundle like a company that you can send your disk to for fixing or a gadget maybe?

There are a ton of different ways to do it. There is a local company that will refinish the cd so it will play again.

But I would suggest trying the paste first. You buy a cd repair paste from just about any store that sells cd's and dvd's. You put it on, let it dry, then rub it off.

It works very well. I used to use it on old damaged Blockbuster games I got for free 'cause they couldn't be played. I would then sell them.

hmmmm never heard of it before is it available in the uk and is it exspensive
