How did you react when you first seen the Flood on Halo?

When I first saw the Flood, I thought "WTF is that!?"
I died about 50 times because I was acting foolish
by throwing plasma grenades at the flood
warrior forms running towards me.

But then I discovered the shotgun.
And I kicked some flood (censored)!

I was surprised. The Assault Rifle was totally useless against them. Plasma weapons were basically useless, it was just hard for me to cope. I was used to, so it took me awhile to adjust. On easy it was still easy, but on the other difficulties, it was harder than I expected.

I saw them and i just kinda got the feeling that i was looking at a mirror image of anorithias. Wink

I didn't have too much of a problem with them. I watched my back and was incredibaly careful about letting them touch me. The big blob ones that explode kept getting me and so did the ones that hit you. They were a nice change though, I liked the multiple bad guy thing.

The music that built up to the first sighting of them was intense!

Me and clone were nearly bricking it by the time we saw them (we pretty much always play co-op), and then when they came it was pretty much "Awwwwwwww sheeeeeeeeee-it! Shoot them! Shoot them!"
