Please obey the following rules; they are here to help keep this a safe and fun place.

1. Show the moderators the proper respect. They are here to insure that all users follow the code of conduct or the forum's rules.

2. Do not post links to inappropriate sites. Such sites can be, but are not limited to, Warez sites, pornography sites, hate sites, etc.

3. Be kind. We will not tolerate harassment, profanity, racial slurs or anything of that sort. The staff's decision is final on determining whether this rule has been violated.

4. Stay on topic. If you must go off topic then go to the General section, but even there all rules must be obeyed and no spamming is allowed. Off topic posts will be moved or deleted. Repeated attempts to spam or post off-topic conversations may result in suspension from this service or being banned.

5. If you have a problem or complaint about any other member send a private message to a moderator or the administrator. They will do everything in their ability to resolve your issue.

6. If you use HTML coding in your posts, then keep it simple. There is no advanced HTML coding allowed, and if your post is improperly coded or the HTML adversely effects the page or site, then your post is subject to deletion.

7. A word filter will replace explicit words. Any attempt to modify the word so the filter does not replace it is not allowed. Inappropriate words are determined by the Heroes of Gaming staff.

8. Do not use inappropriate signatures or avatars. They may not contain nudity, profanity, or any offensive material. The images must also be of appropriate size (no larger than 100x100 for sigs). Whether a signature or avatar image is appropriate is determined by the Moderators and the Administrator(s).

9. Do not disrespect anybody for their religious beliefs. Everybody has the freedom to believe, or not believe, in any religion. It is a constitutional right in America, and that extends to these forums.

*These rules are subject to change at any time without prior notice. If you have any questions contact a Moderator or the Administrator.

Please abide by all rules the rules.

If you see a broken rule pm and member of the staff. We will act quickly to remove it.

This is the Moderator's code of conduct:

All Moderators must adhere to the following code of conduct.

1. Obey and adhere to all forum rules.

2. Assist in the implementation of new forum rules when necessary.

3. Do not ban any account without first consulting the other moderators or the admin. (This does not apply to excessive and continuous spamming. In those cases suspend the user immediately then consult the other moderators and the admin)

4. Advise the admin if you are leaving the forum and will no longer be able to perform your duties.

5. Move posts to the correct section if they appear to be in the wrong section.

6. Delete any post that violates the rules of the forum.

7. No favoritism, apply the rules to all users despite your personal feelings.

8. Report any moderator who breaks these rules to the admin.

9. Only use stickies for forum related posts, and remove the stickey after an appropriate amount of time.

10. Participate in the moderator votes and discussions.

11. You must maintain a functioning e-mail address in your user profile. It is okay to keep it hidden from other members.

12. Represent yourself in a professional manner, and do your best to use proper English and grammar when necessary.

13. Any conduct un-becoming of a moderate could result in loss of your moderator duties.
