I'll start off by just saying that I am a Democrat.

Forget political parties. democrats are just as corrupt as the cons. its all partisan bullsh**.
What ever happened to protecting American privacy the dems promised ?
they just signed away a bill that gives bush more authority than he asked for over wiretapping.
What about ending the war ?
Still there is no withdrawal. And now we have democrat front runners asking for a second war with Iran.
The whole dem vs. rep paradigm is all a lie. there not that different when you get down to it. there both authoritarian to different degrees and on different issues.

It's better to go with politicians who tend to be away from the pack. And have actually a track record that corresponds with there rhetoric.

Well, the problem is, many voters DID think that the Democrats were serious. I mean, many of the advocacy groups that had pressured the Democrats into agreeing to do major change are bow furious at the lack of any progress, not even any serious attempts.

BTW- What sort of stuff do you support that causes you to like the Dems better?

I cant type out my reasons on a laptop due to my poor laptop typing skills.

But its from top to bottom, my biggest issues being civil rights.

I could go on forever in great detail and be very good about my arguements if I were speaking but typing, I never seem to get anything out right.
