No way, that's gotta be a mistake.
The USSR may have, but many of their stockpiles were in the Ukraine. Or I'm totally wrong. |

| The have more but most are deteriorating. Such as many of the nuclear submarines which are rusti ng away. If something happened to them (as they're concentrated in one area) then the whole world is in the [explicit] |

Well, I think nuclear war should take place some where that nobody cares about like Europe.
We will fight it all there, well I move to the American colony on the moon. |

kk, Heres my two cents, and I know Im never around, and I probably won't be back for weeks to come, but here goes.
Iran hasn't done anything as of yet to these sailors, the only thing Ive heard of them ask for is that UK pull out of Iraq...
is it really that hard? Just pull out, if they don't comply, go back in...
I dont see the problemz. |

That makes total sence. If you cave to there demands it makes it worse. Its the same if someone is nagging you, and you cave. Then they will do it to you again, because they know you will cave again.
Those people could easily be being tortured. After all they forced them to write and read those letters. Then they wont tell the British Diplomats were they are being held, so they cant see if they are being tortured.
Plus a pull out would cost a ton of money and man power. And that would just cause everything to get rilled up again. All the terrorist groups would do exactly what the Iranian goverment is doing. |

No that's wrong. Iran took the British soldiers because they believed the British forces had entered Iranian territorial waters, though they have been proved wrong. Asking Britain to pull out of Iraq is redundant because Britain is pulling out anyway, while the US tries a final surge. This is basically Iran giving a message that they're not going to cave. A silly idea in my opnion....

Please, are British soldiers suddenly going to say what they did was wrong and such? They were coerced into writing the letters to make it lok like Iran was in the right though as I said this has been disproven. What Iran is doing now is illegal and are just making the situation worse. |

No country in the world would admit to doing wrong, unless they have armies of the west with there finger on the triger and even then its a stretch.
Iran is really chaning my mind on Iraq. Before I was 100% opposed to Iraq, even before the War I was. But Iran is really making me reconsider my oppinion. We need to make sure they know we wil take action.
The American goverment is not going to just let a rogue state like this just do whatever the hell it wants, especially to troops of a nation we are very close to. |

Please use evidence to refute an argument. Have you seen the maps of the locations where the soldiers were deatined. Well to help you here is a link:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/6502805.stm
This report has a map showing the 1st Iranian position given which was later found to be in Iraqi waters so the Iranians changed the coordinates. So I concur Iran was in the wrong.[/url] |
