It shouldn't be the United States' problem what others do honestly.

We can't continue to try and keep being the police of the world, it just isn't going to work. Just let them be them. If they try it again, it'll fail like it did before.

Its the goverments job to protect the population of this country. And a nation with the ability to do extrme harm to this nation that is iwlling to do so, should be handled accordingly.

Man for this world this is bad but in a strange way I'm koind of excited by the porspect of a new Soviet Union. No offence to our American friends but the USSR was the only nation that really kept the USA in check.

Well, they would hopefully serve that purpose.

Our country is being allowed to do as we please totally unchecked nowadays. Not that I'm opposed, but I guess I'm in the middle. I'm all for USA pride and all, but we still need to be in check.

China will be the next superpower, so they'll probably try to check us.

We cannot and shall not be "checked." Whatever are goverment does is to help this nation. Even if another nation comes along to stop us, the goverment still has a duty to do what they can to help our nation. Your only problem with our goverment is along political lines. The nation needs to debate points but a house divided shall not stand. I do not like republicans but there power does not make me want to remove power from the nation as a whole. I may not agree with them, but they are trying to help this nation. I will not hope for a bunch of communists to gain power to hold them down. Screw That.

Iraq? We got ourselves into that with adimittingly ok reasons at first, but it turned out to be for nothing. What would stop us from going to places just because we consider them a threat? What qualifies as a threat?

No, anything that goes unchecked is bound to create problems, and for all the American Pride I have, I trust me, I have it, I just feel that we do need to have something to check us.

Maybe if we fight Ussr II muslim countries wont constanly be attacked. OH HAPPY DAY!!!! By the way i hope UK blows up too but not America its too cool.

To hell, with the middle east, to hell with nations opposed to America. Maybe a strong presence by another nation can slow middle eastern actions. However lucky for us, it doesnt matter what kind of crazk head, anti-American ass leads Russia. The are not a strong enough nation to be of any effect. To cut them selves off from the US, would to cut itself off from the most advanced of Western nations. I have no worries.

The only threat to American safety could be China, but even then I am not overly worried. A majority of american trade is with China, and thus the same for China. To cut each other off would be equally damaging to both. Plus we have the ability and the technology to defend ourselves. Not to mention our pupet state of Japan....

Can you comprehend the *scale* of the country? Its fecking massive!

Their war machine is also impressive. I wouldn't just dismiss them.

No, I have never been there, but from all the world news you hear from there, and of the poor quality there military machines are.

And the size of the nation does not really matter, Canada is the second largest in the world, but they dont worry me. The uk is 79th in land mass yet you all are very strong.
