Change the forums color scheme?

I got distracted with giving the template choices, but I was thinking that if I made the red areas dark gray (like the video site) then things would match better.

What do you think? The header here would still be red, but the ad box and link text would be dark gray.

There, how does that look.

The main problem I see is being able to read the words when you are in a topic. I could make it darker...

All the red boxes, and some of the text. I would've changed all the text. Much of it is still red. I just took some of the red out so it blends with the rest of the site better.
