MAn did you study the Cold War. Russia could easily hold back America. After all it was really the Russians on the Eastern Front during WW2 that won the war. Russia are 5th in the world in military and have a much bigger reserve than the USA. To under estimate Russia is one of the worst things anyone could do.

That is not true.

The USA was worried about attack, the USA had even comenced an embargo upon them. They just were not expecting the attack to come the way it did.

If Russia wanted to ruin the USA it could. One word - Oil. Thats the new weapon in the modern world. Even with the resevees int the USA , the country wouldn't be able to sustain itself at its current level for long. Russia is a supplier and if they cut off the supply then you;re facing a whole series of problems. May seem far fetched but we get closer to peak oil everyday and when that hits nations will try to hold as much oil as they can for themselves.

Yea but what about the middle east?? a lot of oil there still havent seen russia attack them. BTW why r we talking about possible WW3 senerios??? isnt that a bad thing???
