E3 07 - Articles, Photos, or Video

E3 07 is coming. Do you guys think I should focus on written articles like interviews and previews, or should I focus on taking all the photos I can, or should I just take all the video I can get my hands on.

I could also just balance between all of it, but is there more specific stuff I should focus on?

First focus: Focus on sports games

Second: I would do more interviews. Articles make the site look more legit. Pictures just make it feel like it could be anyone out there not someone from a cool website.

I could also go back to sharing my articles with other sites for links back here. That really used to help with traffic. The problem with that would be that if we get anymore traffic than we currently have, then the site will crash. Hopefully we'll upgrade to a dedicated or a better vps soon.

It always crashs when I have something important to tell the alliance.

But that doesnt matter.

Justfocus on sports games lol.

We just have more traffic than our server can support. It sucks, but that's what the problem is. Too bad the people don't come to the forum and post. Sad

When I upgrade the server, it should fix things.

I'll try to actually cover some sports games this year. I'm just not the biggest sport game and sport sim fan.

We have been getting 15 to 20 people on the ofrum every day from the alliance, they just tend not to post.

And Alexa says we have gone down from last year. Sad

We have dropped in Alexa rankings, but if you remember last year we had the same problems. That's why we switched hosting companies. But we have about four times the traffic that we had last year, but the forum has dropped in traffic while the main site has increased.

The old Alexa rankings were a bit off. They were from people playing the rpg and doing thousands of page refreshes.

I think I'll try to get a lot of video, and do as many articles as I can. I want to do video interviews, and demo's, but it's hard to do that with one person.

I'll get all the Wii, PS2, and PSP stuff I can. I just need to decide if I'm going to get less content, but write more articles. Or if I'm going to get tons of photos and videos, and write less articles.

The things I would write would be impressions from the demo's, trailers, press releases, and possibly reviews of final unreleased games.

I'll just try to split the difference. I don't think I'll do too many interviews this time, I'll try and do video taped developer demonstrations. Then I'll post them up. I usually run into upload problems at these things though, so I hope it doesn't take too long to upload.

Go with the Reviews of the Unreleased games.

That'll get you ahead, and it's something people really look for.

That's probably what I'll do. I'll write as many hands-on previews as I can, and then focus on videos and photos as a second priority.
