Crackdown

Has anyone tried Crackdown. I just got it in the mail (a little late), and I was planing on spending some time with it.

It's a sandbox style game from Microsoft. From what I've seen the graphics were a little weak, but not too bad when you consider how much is actually on the screen.

Sandbox means it is a go anywhere do anything game like Grand Theft Auto.

Oh I hate those games. They all just seem to play like Grand Theft Auto. Every single one.

I have it. It's an average game. The main problem is that it is too short, but it is fun jumping from building to building collecting orbs and piling up 20 cars and throwing a gernade and watching the Huge explosion.

I played it for about an hour yesterday. I went after a boss, and the game told me I was too weak. I jumped, and climbed my way to the boss and ignored the gang members. I took the boss out with no problem. It is a bit too easy and short.

I do like collecting the cars and guns.

sandbox games usually dont have great graphics cause they are random unlike games that you go through levels because you are doing the same thing

Also they don't look that great because they are just rendering so much at once, and have so many characters AI's to worry about. Of course you could say that about Oblivion and Assassin's Creed, and they both look great.

At least you can get Crackdown for pretty cheap.

Good reason to get it. Unfortunately that Halo 3 demo is more of a tech demo. The full game is supposed to be more advanced.
