Need
A flag/banner

Requirement:
Silhouette/Silhouettes of schooners, clippers, sloops or other wind powered trade ships of old. Not necessarily from a side view, could be a single ship or a group of them, open to creative license.
Bonus objectives:
Just to give you a clue what we're looking for or might like. If you have a great idea that meets none or only some of these run with it as they are by no means meant to be taken as requirements
1) Conservative usage of gradients and/or fine details
2) Background color scheme that can easily be adapted to different alliances
3) Sharp but cohesive appearance
4) Preferable trend toward grays, blues, black, white & silver.
5) Conservative usage of text
6) Width preferred over height
Prizes
The equivalent of three to nine million dollars paid as a mixture of aid & tech (winners choice) will be divided between contestants dependent on the level of response .
The winners of the flag & signature bar contests will receive no less than 1.5 million or 50 tech each, the rest being split between other notable entries we may consider using and increasing the sums awarded to the two primary winners. Prize money is stackable, more entries we use = more rewards.
All viable contestants will receive invitations to The Consortium forums where they can participate in tech dealings as well as a soon to open market in mixed trades (graphics, CNwiki articles, template creation). Winners wishing to set up graphic shops will have their posts pinned for greater visibility.
Creators of all officially used graphics will be sourced in our historical documentation and may be contracted for future work.
Winners currently in war or under aid restriction will be awarded when conflict clears.
Dates
Ends officially the day after Labor Day. (September 4th) |

| OMG SO LONG! i see i have to make a flag and a userbar.... what size is flag? sig size? i also need it to have silouettes of boats on the flag... what text do i put? can you put a link to the post so i can see others? |
