Boy was this movie a stinker!! The special effects couldn't even save it over the dialogue which was akin to listening to nails raking a chalkboard. Everyone has made a big deal over the novel it being authored by a 14 year old, I didn't read it but apparently the movie is true to the novel since it obviously was written by a 14 year old! Smile

the novel was actually absolutely fantastic i did feel that movie was a let down for the novel though

the movie was so bad it gave the book a bad sense. the book had all this action and it was just that good. the movie cut out all the action and just skipped all the good parts. i really wanted to see them get drunk, it would have been so funny. i hope they dont make anymore movies to ruin the rest of the series...i havent read the second book b/c the movie is kinda just horrible.
