To be honest, I reckon they're both awesome consoles.

I used to be a total PS2 fanboy... then I realised two things.

1) God hates fanboys.
2) Xbox and the PS are both brilliant.

PS2 is easier to mod and halo is on the xbox even tho i guess that doesnt make the system better i only know that the 360 will be superior to the PS3 and im sorry im a fanboy and im not trying to scare him away

Superior graphics dosn't exactly mean xbox owns ps2.

I love ps2 but i must admit Xbox is a great console

Better graphics does not make the better console.

Its all in the gameplay baby.

You can't really make a choice. Both consoles are awesome, but are entirly different.

The games, the controller, the looks, the feel... all good. but vastly differentual to each other.

Graphics alone will never decide the leading cos if they did PS3 and Xbox 360 are gonna have a tough time soon Very Happy

But still. Graphics do play a huge part. As long as you have a dcent button config and pretty good gameplay, you can get used to different gameplay. Graphics need to always be really good.

Graphics mean nothing.

You can have entirley text based games that kick total bad ass.

On a console you can't have that. That's what I meant. Graphics play a huge part to me at least. Pretty pictures me like Laughing

Whether you play it on a console or not is irrelevant. Graphics aren't that mucxh important IMHO.

However, agreed that a next gen console should have decent graphics, they aren't overly important.

Take MDK2 for example. Genius game, really funny, but piss poor graphics.

One of my personal favourite games of all time graphics were good then SUCKS now but i still play it because of the fact that the game was good not because of the graphics. Gameplay would be my first choice for a game then its lengthspan THEN its graphics. But its only my opinion so i hope there will be no arguments over this.

PS. Game i was referring to was Metal Gear Solid - PS1

MGS had aweasome graphics for its time. And yes, it was a genius game.

Same goes for something like FF7...
