XBox Sales in Japan

We have a post on this somewhere, and I said I would post some actual sales numbers for the Xbox in Japan. I couldn't find the old thread, so here's the info I had.

During the week ending on July 3 Microsoft sold 123 Xbox systems in Japan. Sony, on the other hand, sold 29,992 PS2's during the same week (these numbers were from MediaCreate).

Hopes this puts some perspective on how badly PS2 (also DS and PSP) are whoopin' Microsoft in Japan.

I hope the 360 fares much better in Japan, but only time will tell.

Again, we are here to please.

But on a side note, I really hope that the 360 does much better in Japan. Microsoft makes a good system, and brings good games to the market, and I would hate to see them give up the way Sega did.

Thats just soooooooooooooooooo wrong!

Not only is your history clearly messed up, but the fact that you don't want to buy products from a country just becuase of their history... thats boarderline racism!

FYI, Hitler started the war. You know hitler right? Toothbrush moustache? Invaded Poland? Massacred jews?

He started the war. He invaded Poland, and Britan declared war as it was an unlawful invasion (you amricans know all about illegal invavsions *cough*Iraq*cough* ).

But I can see wy you could get confused.

America only joined the war after they got their asses kicked at Pearl Harbour. Whilst we brits went for the pre-emptive strike, you guys had to wait untill some of your navy got butchered beofre you became activley involved...

But god damn!

Yes FRD is right yet again. Japan did kill innocent people in the war yet so did every other army. Only Hitler is realy to blame as he was a power hungry megalomaniac but before that he was a painter and decorator. And besides Japan is where most gaming history lies.

I belive he was also a public debator for a while as well.... turns out he was pretty good at that...

The way I see it, Jitler had nothing against Jews as such...

He got an Iron Star in the first world war for saving a german Jews life...

I reckon he just used Jews as a scapegoat to get germany stoked for war. Germany was still confused and startled at the fact that they had lost. There was also a national depression. Hitler used the jews to stir the germans into a frenzy. He blamed them for loosing the war.

everything that followed on from then was Hitlers fault, but he deemed it neccesary for the war effort..

Just a theory...
