Moderator Controller Position.

I, personally, would like to see a Moderator Controller Position.. like FGF, but Moderator instead of Veteran. For those who aren't familier with it, here's how it works:

* One person (very trusted), is the Moderator Controller.
* If you want to be a moderator, you send the Moderator Controller a PM asking for him to make you a Moderator Poll.
* When enough people request (Say around 5-10 people every 2 weeks), they are set up in a seperate board.
* The current moderators, vote yes or no to the people who have requested to be a moderator and explain their reasoning.
* If you win by at least 65%, you are a moderator, if not, you aren't.

Seems pretty pointless to me. The system we have here works out okay.

Its just a suggestion. IMO it would work better than the system here.. but it's not my forum.

CG is in the moderator control posistion. He is my #2 (Austin Powers referense, and I will now call him #2 here on out until I get bored of it).

We wanted everyone to be able to vote for a mod, this isn't our normal method for chosing moderators. We're just trying something new.

Oh ok. Will I be seeing my suggestion in practice in the future? Or will it always be like this?

Well the diffrence is fgf is huge and the admin is weak there. FGF has lots of categories so mods are getting added and removed all the time, here we are a small forum so we dont need to change mods fast and all the time so we dont need that position.

Plus we have to active admins and all the mods are on a lot so we dont have the problem fgf has causing them to get a mod control.

Im only talking about selecting Moderators for the whole forum.. Im not talking about a different Moderator for each section.

Also, I would be Moderator Controller Smile
