We just recieved our EIN from the government for our new cheritable foundation The Heroes of Gaming Foundation. Hopefully we will have our full not for profit status in a couple of months.

HoGF will be seperate from HoG, and will focus on education of minors about health. Hopefully funding PAL programs, little league teams, battle of the bands, etc. Also with some luck we will continue working with the ESA and the Ad Counsel and make some public service announcemnts. We will apply for a grant with the ESA and if we get it will start making the public service announcements in 2008.

Right now we are in search of funds. With some luck we can start going full steam in 2008.

Thanks, but it's not time for that yet. It will take a couple of months to get our not for profit status from the government.

We are working on many projects, some may end up being suprises (most won't begin for several years).

I think you should donate to educating Americans on thw wrongs of the republican party.

But anyway that sounds cool, but why do you want to do this? Do you get to use this to gain something for your ofrum, or are you just doing this because your a nice guy?

The site already gets tax deductions for hosting and whatnot, and we're not losing money anymore. The only possible way to benefit from the foundation is an increased repitation, an oportunity to learn, and possibly increased traffic.

I have extensive experience in writing and maintaining grants. If I want them, then I needed a nonprofit organisation.

But Heroes of Gaming won't be donating funds to the Foundation. I will run it, do what I can to raise funds, then go from there. Technically the Foundation and Heroes of Gaming are seperate entities.

Also we can't make a profit from the Foundation. This is just one of the original steps from my original business plan.

Also this will be a very slow process. Like I said, I have the EIN from the Government, but I still need approval for the notforprofit.
