I recieved the following message from our host today:

We just wanted to notify that your server will be migrated this Friday evening, August 3rd to our new datacenter. The migration will begin at approximately 11PM CST, and we expect that no single server will have more than three hours of downtime.
The new datacenter will offer some new advantages, most of all increased stability with your server. The datacenter is less than a mile from our existing datacenter.

| I don't know. It should make it more stable. The site isn't as fast as we would like because we were exceeding our bandwidth. The bandwidth has been upped, and the site's speed may improve. |

Nice.
To realy speed things up we would have to switch to a dedicated server for our hosting, and we don't make enough profit to cover that kind of monthly expense.
The Mugen downloads added about an extra 250,000 page impressions a month to the site, and a ton of bandwidth being used. It is worth the it though, and hopefully the new server can handle the server load at peak times better than this one does. |

I am working on a long term partnership, but it will take at least a year to get into place (if ever).
Besides that I would like to do radio ads, but stuff like that just increases readers on the main site.
I think the most active members we ever had at once was about 50. You couldn't go more than a couple minutes without a post being made. But then people couldn't get a long with each other, and left.
If we all get a long with each other the site will grow. Nobody wants to go to a site where people bicker all the time. |

Yeah.
I was just saying that back when we had many more members we lost them because people could not get along.
We'll get back there soon enough. We just need to find a nitch group that needs a forum. We had the Cybernation people, but only a few of them (you guys) started posting out of CN forum. |

| If we had WoW people and runescape people maybe we would grow quite a bit but I doubt we can get any of them. I do remember Hockydude saying something about this. |
